X-Bow Sr. Material Planner
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Material Planner to join our team and drive excellence in material availability, production readiness, and supply chain optimization. In this role, you will oversee complex commodity planning activities, ensure alignment between supply and production requirements, and contribute to the efficiency, quality, and reliability for manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute material requirements plans (MRP) to meet production schedules and customer demands, both manually with spreadsheets and in an ERP environment.
Analyze forecast data, production plans, and inventory levels to identify potential material shortages or excess.
Collaborate closely with procurement, production, quality, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery of critical components.
Optimize inventory management strategies to balance cost, rick, and service levels
Ability to manage complex supply chains with multiple stakeholders and long lead times
Generate and present reports on inventory, material availability, and planning
Create PRs in the system to support the program procurement process, based on specific commodities
Help develop best practices for material planning in both discrete and continuous production models
Create and manage dynamic material plans with multiple limiting factors, like limited shelf life, lot/batch control, and limited inventory storage capacity.
