Job Title: HAZOPS Engineering Lead
Location: Luling, TX (onsite)
- Responsibilities:
- Lead the HAZOPS board and team.
- Develop policies, procedures, and standards for hazard analysis and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams.
- Oversee adjudication of safety waivers and regulatory interpretations.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
- Report directly to the Director of Safety.
- Process Safety
- Focus on Process Safety Management (PSM) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics.
- Act as the bridge between the HAZOPS board and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure hazard analysis findings are integrated into workflows and operational procedures.
- Qualifications:
- BS Engineering or Physics minimum
- 8 year experience with energetic materials minimum
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communicator and team leader
- Strong working knowledge MIL-STD-882, DoD4145, OSHA, and NFPA Regulation
