Cost Estimator (Entry Level)

Wyser Innovative Products is seeking an entry-level Cost Estimator to support accurate quoting and cost analysis for fabricated metal parts. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to learn how parts are priced, how manufacturing decisions impact cost, and how estimates support customer success.
What You’ll Do:
- Learn to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes for fabricated metal parts
- Review customer drawings and specifications to understand materials and processes
- Work closely with engineering and production to understand how parts are manufactured
- Help analyze material costs, labor hours, machine time, and outside services
- Request and review vendor quotes for outsourced work
- Enter and maintain quote information in the ERP system
- Track revisions and update quotes as designs or requirements change
- Look for opportunities to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
- Support sales and customer service with pricing-related questions
- Maintain organized records and follow established estimating procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Interest in manufacturing, estimating, or cost analysis
- Basic understanding of fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, etc.)
- Ability to read or learn to read engineering drawings
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn ERP systems and estimating processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred
- Manufacturing experience a plus, but not required
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
