Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and well-presented in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, assembling, and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, coffee machines, toasters, and beverage dispensers
- Serve guests in person with attentive customer service, addressing special dietary needs and providing menu recommendations such as wine pairings when appropriate
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling weights and food portions responsibly
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and prevent cross-contamination
- Restock supplies as needed during service hours to maintain a fully operational breakfast area
- Support catering or banquet setups when required, contributing to larger events or special functions
Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience in food service environments such as restaurants, catering, or hospitality settings. Specific experience that is highly valued includes:
- Fine dining experience demonstrating high standards of presentation and customer interaction
- Food handling and safety knowledge aligned with industry best practices
- Culinary experience involving food preparation and presentation techniques
