What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at Wulco, Inc.?
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
The Machine Operator is responsible for:
- Operating various milling, fabrication and turning machinery and equipment, as assigned, to manufacture parts to required specifications
- Inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy to the required specifications and completing assigned inspection and job traveler paperwork
- Ensuring finished parts move to the next operation upon completion
- Informing Machining Lead of any problems or improvements of the manufacturing process
- General workmanship including deburring and cleaning finished parts
- Maintain good housekeeping practices including cleaning work area and inspection equipment
- Other tasks as assigned
JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- High School education or equivalent
- Basic math skills and basic blue print reading
- Basic understanding of machine program and ability to make tool offsets
- Use of SDS sheets and basic machine shop safety
- Must be able to stand at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
