2nd Shift CNC Operator
Overview
Jet Machine is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with CNC machinery. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts, ensuring quality control throughout the production process. The CNC Operator will work closely with production teams to meet goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Mazak Vertical and Horizontal Mills and Lathes as assigned, to manufacture parts to required specifications
- Handle material and finished parts
- Deburr parts
- perform routine maintenance
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy to the required specifications
- Experience running a waterjet is a preference.
- Other tasks as assigned ranging from operating other equipment to handling material.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in operating CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with press operations is a plus.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to perform basic quality control inspections and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
