What You Will Do
- Works with clients and project teams to determine and develop project objectives, scopes, budgets, deliverables, and schedules
- Maintains client communication and project documentation
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees project activities to ensure on-time delivery
- Anticipates project challenges and advises team on alternative solutions
- Ensures project deliveries meet quality standards
- Mentors and evaluates staff
- Assists in the training of staff in standard practices and procedures
- Analyzes project profitability, revenue and billing rates, and monthly project invoices
- Conduct business development and develop client relationships related to floodplain and stormwater management
- Travel to client and project locations for submittal reviews, field verification of models, proposal presentations, and other client management activities
- 7 years of experience in water resource and stormwater management.
- A minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering
- A current PE license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
- Hydrologic Modeling
- Hydraulic Modeling (1D and 2D)
- ESRI Products
- FEMA LOMC Submittals
- Our preferred candidate will have:
- Proven project management experience
- Experience managing, developing, and mentoring staff
- Desire to be involved in business development activities
