What You Will Do:

• Play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients
• Collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients
• Perform include design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation
• Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications for projects
• Assist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities
• Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians
  
  

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
• 4-7 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering or related field
• PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
• Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
• Ability to work 40 hours a week
• Ability to work in the posted locations
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
