Position Title: Director of Human Resources
Reports To: Executive Director of Finance
Classification: Exempt
Summary: The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in direct support of the District mission and Comprehensive School Improvement Plan goals. This individual oversees all human resource processes and activities, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, medical leave and accommodations, benefits administration, performance management and legal compliance with all employment related laws. This individual will be an integral part of the Central Office Administrative team and serve as an advisor to the Superintendent and Board of Education on all personnel-related matters. This individual must be able to make sound decisions with a broad knowledge of the implications for the District. This individual must be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and support the District’s efforts to maintain a positive workplace environment.
