Job Summary
Wright Building & Design is seeking a dependable, motivated Construction Laborer to join our team building high-quality custom homes throughout Northern Michigan.
This is not production construction. We build one-of-a-kind homes with an emphasis on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and doing the job right the first time. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to learn the residential construction trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters with framing, siding, trim, and finish work
- Load, unload, and organize building materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Assist with excavation, concrete, and site preparation as needed
- Help receive deliveries and manage materials
- Work as part of a small team to keep projects moving efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Qualifications
- Construction experience is preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in all seasons
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
