Medical Front Office Receptionist

Wound & Skin Care of Wyoming is seeking an experienced Medical Front Office Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our Idaho Falls clinic.

This role is critical to patient experience, clinic flow, and front-office accuracy. We are looking for someone who brings medical office experience, understands insurance processes, and naturally creates a calm, positive environment for patients.

You will be the first impression for patients and an important part of keeping the clinic organized, accurate, and running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Greet patients warmly and professionally as the first and last point of contact.

Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Use Electronic Health Record and Electronic Medical Record systems, scheduling software, or billing workflows.

Verify insurance, review coverage, and ensure accurate patient information.

Collect copays, confirm eligibility, and support front-office due diligence.

Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff.

Handle patient questions with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.

Maintain HIPAA compliance and attention to detail.

Support forms, records, supplies, inventory, and communication within the clinic.

Provide front-office support to providers and clinical staff.

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in a medical or clinical office setting.

Working knowledge of insurance verification, copays, and eligibility.

Professional, polished, and friendly in-person presence.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to remain calm, positive, and welcoming during busy clinic hours.

Comfort handling sensitive or anxious patient situations.

Pride in being the face of a healthcare practice.

Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work without constant supervision.

Pay

$14–$20 per hour, based on experience.
