Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Line Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic repairs, as well as preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facility structures. This is a hands-on position where troubleshooting, problem-solving, and equipment reliability are key.
Hours
Monday - Thursday (some Fridays)
7:00AM - 5:00PM
Pay
$27.00 - $33.00
Job Duties
Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical and electrical failures.
Conduct preventive maintenance on all plant equipment to minimize downtime.
Provide emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs.
Perform welding, cutting, and soldering using electric and gas equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for required maintenance.
Carry out tasks such as pipe fitting, welding, machining, carpentry, installing/alignment of new equipment, and facility repairs (floors, freezers, stairs, etc.).
Observe all OSHA and facility safety rules, including use of PPE.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Requirements
Regular standing, reaching, bending, and movement throughout the facility.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
Hearing ability to meet facility safety requirements.
3 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
Proficiency with power and hand tools.
Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of employees, including training staff on new equipment.
Salary : $27 - $33
