Work Hours: Hours for the position are generally Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00. Hours may vary depending on current projects and deadlines.
Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the AVP – Human Resources, under general direction of senior HR leadership. This generalist position provides administrative and operational support, including recruiting and onboarding activities, payroll processing, employee file maintenance, addressing employee questions and concerns, coordinating special projects and activities, and other activities in support of the department.
Requirements: Candidate must have 1-3 years relevant/preparatory experience as a Human Resources Generalist or similar role. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of proficiency in Windows 11, MS Office 365, Adobe (or other electronic document system), and HRIS applications (preferably Dayforce) are necessary for successful performance in this position. In addition, this role requires a professional demeanor, including the ability to maintain strict confidentiality; the ability to communicate with clarity and tact, both verbally and in writing; and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment. Financial institution experience, preferably in a credit union, is helpful.
