A Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with company standards. The role includes managing field technicians, coordinating schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to support high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities also involve monitoring performance, enforcing safety practices, and driving continuous improvement in service processes and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily operations of the unit
- Act as intermediary between customers and technicians by speaking with customers to understand the work required and with technicians to explain the work and dispatch them to the job site.
- Visit technicians at job sites to see how things are going
- Check with customers to assure they are satisfied with the work.
- Review service ticket and get it ready for billing.
- Resolve billing and other issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and mentor your team in various commercial & industrial HVAC equipment.
- Manage routine maintenance on various commercial & industrial HVAC equipment.
- Order job materials.
- Coordinate with the administrative staff for daily activities.
- Perform special or complicated service activities, including periodic on-call duties, as required
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of commercial HVAC service & repair experience
- Ability to travel to various sites across Bucks County.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Team player with a jump-in-the-ditch mentality
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to doing things right the first time
