Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Supervisor to support the daily operations of our warehouse. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Assign tasks and monitor warehouse staff performance throughout the shift
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
- Monitor inventory and assist with cycle counts when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Ensure employees follow company safety procedures
- Train new employees on warehouse processes and work standards
- Report operational issues or delays to management
Skills
- Experience supervising warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Understanding of shipping, receiving, and warehouse workflows
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA standards
- Experience in logistics, distribution, or 3PL warehouses preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
