Duties

• must haver own truck or van
• valid drivers license
• Install fiber optic cables in outdoor environments, adhering to safety standards and engineering schematics
• Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, power tools, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform fiber splicing and termination using telecommunications splicing equipment to ensure optimal signal integrity
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot and verify fiber optic network performance
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and network diagrams to guide installation and maintenance processes
• Conduct telecommunications outside plant operations, including cable pulling, trenching, and conduit placement
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including test results, splicing records, and installation logs
