Duties

- Use diagnostic tools and telecommunications testing equipment to verify network performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently
- Perform telecommunications cable splicing, fiber splicing, and network testing to ensure optimal connectivity and signal integrity
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides to accurately install and repair fiber optic networks
- Conduct telecommunications outside plant operations, including cabling, trenching, and conduit placement in outdoor settings
- Support low voltage wiring, Ethernet (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), telephony systems, and other IT infrastructure components
