Why this role exists
The organization is kicking off a migration from a legacy, on-prem document management system into a modern SharePoint Online environment. They need someone who can design, build, and optimize the new platform while ensuring it’s scalable, user-friendly, and compliant.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and build SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and overall structure
- Develop custom SPFx (React) components to enhance UX and functionality
- Automate workflows using Power Automate (approvals, notifications, processes)
- Build Power Apps integrated with SharePoint for internal tools
- Support integration and automation using PowerShell, Graph API, REST, and PnP
- Help implement governance and compliance controls (retention, DLP, eDiscovery)
- Troubleshoot and continuously improve performance and usability
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience with SharePoint Online development (SPFx, React)
- Experience building scalable document management solutions
- Solid exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Experience with M365 integrations and automation tools
- Background in regulated environments or document lifecycle management is a plus

- US Citizen or GC Holder only
- Must be willing to be on site in NYC (lower Manhattan)
