Work Trust Solutions is engaged in a project that requires an Oracle EPM Cloud Expert on an immediate consulting basis in Chicago, IL. (This is a hybrid role in Chicago).
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Cloud Expert with strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle Planning (EPBCS). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of ASO and BSO architectures, strong calculation and Groovy scripting skills, and hands-on experience with batch processing, troubleshooting, and data reconciliation across multiple source systems.
In this role, the Oracle EPM Cloud Expert will:
- Design, develop, and support Oracle EPM Planning (EPBCS).
- Develop and maintain business rules, calculations, and Groovy scripts.
- Create, execute, and troubleshoot Windows batch scripts for EPM automation processes.
- Monitor, execute, and troubleshoot batch jobs and integrations.
- Analyze and resolve data discrepancies across EPM, source systems, and downstream reporting.
- Perform data reconciliation between Oracle EPM, Snowflake, SAP, and other upstream/downstream systems.
- Write and troubleshoot Snowflake SQL queries to support data validation and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with SAP teams and leverage knowledge of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) to troubleshoot integration and data flow issues.
The appropriate individual will have the demonstrated background:
- Oracle EPM
- Strong hands-on experience with: Oracle Planning (EPBCS).
- Essbase ASO & BSO, EPM Automate Scripting.
- Solid knowledge of Snowflake SQL.
- Working with SAP CFIN (integration and troubleshooting)
- Advanced expertise in: Calculation scripts, Groovy scripting, Performance tuning and optimization.
- Proficiency in Windows batch scripting.
- Executing and troubleshooting EPM batch processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data discrepancies.
- Process & Governance: Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile) methodologies, Change Management processes, knowledge of SOX compliance, controls, and audit support.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
