Oracle EPM Planning Cloud Expert
Role Title: Oracle EPM Cloud Planning Expert (Techno-Functional)
Term: 3-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EPM Cloud Expert to support targeted enhancements within a complex, integrated reporting environment. This is a techno-functional role that requires a deep understanding of financial reporting combined with high-level technical expertise in Oracle EPM architecture.
The successful candidate will work within an ecosystem where SAP Central Finance (CFIN) serves as the system of record, feeding data into Snowflake, which subsequently supplies Oracle EPM Cloud for downstream reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Enhancement: Lead hands-on builds and targeted enhancements within a highly customized Oracle Cloud EPM environment.
- Architecture Management: Leverage deep expertise in ASO (Aggregate Storage Option) and BSO (Block Storage Option) cube architectures to optimize performance and reporting capabilities.
- Data Integration: Utilize SQL (specifically within a Snowflake environment) to manage and validate data layers feeding into the EPM application.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between technical data structures and functional financial reporting requirements.
- System Optimization: Troubleshoot and refine complex integrated data flows originating from SAP CFIN through Snowflake into Oracle EPM.
Required Qualifications
- Oracle EPM Cloud Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience building and configuring Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) Planning applications.
- Technical Architecture: Proven mastery of ASO and BSO cube design, calculation scripts, and business rules.
- Data Layer Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL is required. Specific experience with Snowflake SQL is highly preferred.
- Financial Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial reporting cycles, consolidations, and planning processes.
- Upstream Systems: Exposure to SAP FI or Central Finance (CFIN) is strongly preferred, given the upstream data model.
