Summary:
The Representative Payee program plays a vital role in supporting individuals on fixed incomes by aiding them in the management of their financial resources. This position entails providing excellent customer service to participants, as well as performing data entry, file management, reporting and other related tasks as required.
Duties Include:
* Maintain confidentiality of program participants, applicants and team members
* Consistently provide high level customer service which is trauma informed and applicant centric
* Maintain awareness of program eligibility requirements/guidelines
* Uphold compliance with program guidelines/requirements
* Advocate for program participants in an effective and timely manner
* Communicate services in plain language
* Attend all team meetings/events/trainings
* Maintain a clean and safe environment
* Maintain office supplies and equipment
* Travel to various locations
* Ensure Resource Hub is covered during lobby hours
* Answer phones, call back voicemails, distribute faxes and emails
* Provide accurate information and referrals
* Provide general office support
* Accurate review of application forms
* Schedule appointment for team members
* Assist with social events/programs
* Provide comprehensive services to payee participants
* Accurate processing of client bills and managing client accounts
* Maintain detailed records for Representative Payee case management, including sorting mail, scanning documents, and organizing both electronic and paper files
* Develop expertise in Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) eligibility, as well as related benefits such as Medicaid and Medicare
