REQUIREMENTS
- Current Oregon dental hygiene license
- At least 1 year of clinical hygiene experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Warm, personable, and genuinely caring chairside manner
- Dependable and professional
- Someone who takes ownership of their patients' oral health and builds long-term relationships
JOB DUTIES
- Educating patients without being judgmental or 'salesy'
- Providing comprehensive preventive hygiene care
- Taking appropriate radiographs and periodontal assessments
- Educating patients about their oral health and treatment options
- Identifying areas of concern and communicating findings effectively with the dentist
- Building trusting, long-term relationships with patients
- Creating a comfortable, positive experience that makes patients want to return
HOURS
- Monday - Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Friday: Off
- No evenings or weekends
