Requirements:
-Eighteen (18) years of age
-High school diploma or GED
-Two (2) years' experience as a Housing Rehab Specialist ~ OR ~ a combo of two (2) years post-secondary education & related work experience
-Valid driver's license & transportation to travel to various housing locations; mileage reimbursement for on the job use
-Have or obtain an Oregon State Licensed Lead Base Paint Renovator
-Training or experience using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook Email, Outlook Calendar & Microsoft Teams at intermediate / advanced level
Preferred (not required):
-Expereince in residential construction & energy conservation
Job Duties:
The following represent the major essential & secondary duties of the position; however, they are not intended to be all inclusive; the employer reserves the right to change, reassign, or combine job duties at any time
-Under general supervision of the Operations Manager, this position implements the housing rehabilitation program for eligible homeowners in Polk / Marion Counties, ensuring all program requirements are met
-Deliver housing rehabilitation services to eligible homeowners & provide project support to ensure compliance w/ established program requirements
-Coordinate renovation projects w/ contractors, homeowners, governing agencies, finances, & inspection from start to finish while complying w/ federal funding regulations
-Mediate any homeowner & contractor differences & established solutions to any related complaint
-Maintain accurate records for all projects per Federal / local requirements including invoices, check issued, bid specifications, & inspections
-Meet w/ homeowners in their home to identify work needed prioritizing health & safety to determine scope of work & select a contractor
-Write up a scope of work w/ the homeowner & to communicate the work w/ the contractors so that they can make an accurate bid for the work
-Self-manage, work independently, & maintain many projects at various stages of work simultaneously
-Preform light lifting of up to twenty-five (25) pounds, predominantly paper products & / or computer equipment, files, etc. Boxes would be lifted & moved a distance not to exceed one hundred (100) feet
-Perform any other duties as assigned

Pay:
-$20 to $25 per hour DOE / DOQ
