Minimum Requirements:
- No experience required, employer will be training
Preferred:
- Candidates who have an interest in Gardening
Employer Notes:
- Employer conducts a drug test prior to first day of employment. Testing includes marijuana use.
- Ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly, have good communications and multitasking skills
- Business hours are Monday through Saturday 8am - 6pm and Sundays 10am - 4pm; schedule vary. Employer states this position starts at 20 hours per week through July and likely into August depending on sales
- Hours will possibly go to overtime during the busy season and be less hours later in Summer. Daily scheduled hours may vary from 4-10 depending upon availability and need
- This work site is not easily accessible using public transportation
Job Duties:
- Good communication skills; bilingual is helpful but not required
- Use a handheld radio for communication
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Read, some typing required
- Help customers at checkout
- Set up deliveries and pickup times for products
- Stock shelves
- Answer phone calls
- Assist customer with finding products
- Cleaning facility, restrooms, breakroom, register area
- Retrieve carts and wagons, bring to shopping areas
- All other duties as assigned
Pay/Benefits
- $15.25 per hour
- Paid Vacation and retirement plan available after first year or work.
