WorkSolved Staffing is recruiting a skilled Welder for a well-established steel fabrication team with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality structural, commercial, residential, ornamental, and miscellaneous steel projects.
Responsibilities- Perform welding and fabrication on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper components, including structural framing, decorative railings, stairs, canopies, mezzanines, and dock safety systems.
- Read, interpret, and execute drawings and blueprints; aid in on-site consultation and design when needed.
- Manage full cycle projects—from fabrication to erection and installation—ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to align fabrication processes with client requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all safety regulations and best practices.
- Proven welding experience in structural and ornamental steel fabrications.
- Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes on materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper.
- Ability to read and follow detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and an “own-the-project” mindset.
- Capable of handling a range of project sizes—from small-scale walk-ins to large, engineered structural jobs.
- Previous work in commercial, residential, and industrial steel fabrication (stairs, railings, canopies, mezzanines, dock safety systems) is highly preferred.
- Commitment to safety practices, steel craftsmanship standards, and client-driven service.
- Exposure to a diverse range of projects—residential remodels, high-end ornamental railings, and large-scale industrial structural steel.
- A collaborative environment supported by in-house design, engineering, and project management teams.
