Position Overview
WorkSolved Staffing is recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing West Michigan employer. This is a 1st shift position with likely overtime and excellent benefits available immediately.
The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely operating equipment in a production and materials-handling environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors and around heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, Including loaders, skid steers, forklifts, or similar machinery.
- Move, load, unload, and organize materials as needed.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support production needs and work with the team to keep operations moving smoothly.

Overtime is likely depending on production needs.
Requirements
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment.
- Able to follow safety procedures and work safely around heavy machinery.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Strong attendance record and positive work attitude.
