Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation for all design meetings, board reviews, hand-offs, line reviews & showroom openings
- Work with the women’s design lead to create inspirational design boards and sketches to convey design ideas
- Research product ideas by compiling vintage protos, tear sheets, sketches, fabric swatches and trim inspiration
- Partner with the women’s design lead to research new silhouettes and market trends
- Responsible for executing technical sketches including all views and detailed layouts
- Deep understanding of the brand's legacy and craftsmanship
- Meticulous attention to washing techniques, patinas, and artisanal details
- Progressive work experience in apparel design (5 years)
- Strong understanding of garment construction and working knowledge of pattern making
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Web PLM, Microsoft Excel and Word
