Responsibilities
- Oversee technical product development process ensuring fit, construction, and quality.
- Track and maintain approval deadlines with Product Development.
- Support Lead Technical Designer and assist junior team members.
- Attend cross-functional meetings to discuss work status and updates.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to assistant and associate technical designers.
- High School diploma, four-year college degree in fashion merchandising/design preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in technical design, pattern making, or quality assurance.
- Previous technical design experience is desirable; retail or garment manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Adobe Illustrator, MS Word, and Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fit, balance, garment construction/production, and fabric performance.
