Third Shift Concentrate Technician

Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs Hourly checks on concentrate levels
• Add salt to juice to keep accurate sodium levels of concentrate
• Greasing of machinery when required
• Performs sodium testing & trains other operations
• Keep area clean and orderly
• Operate machinery to keep the consistent flow and accurate levels
• Train workers on how to run machinery for Production and Sanitation
• Trained on cleaning & dismantling of all equipment, machinery and pack out the finished product
• Perform & complete post/op inspection when needed
• Management reserves the right to add and/or modify the duties and/or responsibilities of any/all employees

Education and/ or training experience:

• Basic Skill Set (refer to required skill section below)
• High School or equivalent training and/or work experience

Requirements/ Skills:

• Ability to stand for hours at length
• Basic oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to follow procedures
• Will be provided apron, gloves, hair and facial masks, earplugs.
• Chemical Training
• Forklift Operator

Physical Demands:

• Lifting or carrying, pushing or pulling, reaching up to 100% of work shift.
• Walking bending, pushing, reaching and lifting to 30 lbs. (Additional weight may be required with assistance)
• Standing, walking or moving about up to 100% of work shift.
• Noise level generated from other conveyor machine activity can be somewhat loud at times, but no damaging levels or other protective equipment required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
