Sample Department Attendant- Textile Warehouse & Sample

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sample Department Attendant to join our Textile Warehouse & Sample team. In this vital role, you will manage the movement, organization, and inventory of textile samples and related materials within our warehouse. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate sample handling, and efficient order fulfillment. Duties

• Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of textile samples using warehouse management systems and inventory management software
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load, unload, and move samples safely and efficiently
• Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of samples to clients or internal departments
• Maintain accurate data entry records for sample tracking, stock levels, and inventory updates using ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas, stocking shelves, and ensuring proper packaging for shipment
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to uphold accurate stock levels in compliance with trade regulations and shipping & receiving standards
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal requests promptly and professionally while adhering to international trade regulations and trade compliance policies

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers; certification preferred
• Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations
• Basic math skills for inventory counting, data entry accuracy, and order calculations
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
• Knowledge of e-commerce packaging standards, stocking procedures, and logistics best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining safety standards in warehouse operations

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
