Job Summary
We are seeking an eager, motivated, and experienced HR professional to join our People Consultant Team, supporting Workmates across the Americas as part of a broader HR Workmate and People Leader Support organization. In this role, you will serve as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert, partnering proactively with people leaders and cross-functional teams to develop policies and processes, drive data-informed decisions, and support both employees and leaders in achieving desired business outcomes. This position demands a high level of critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and HR acumen, along with expertise in change management, project management, and data analytics.
Responsibilities
Engage as a trusted adviser to coach employees and managers on sensitive work-related issues including conflict resolution, performance management, and interpretation of company policy, culture, and values
Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying people tools, policies, and procedures to maximize performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve engagement, and ensure legal compliance
Proactively source, leverage, and analyze data to identify organizational trends, tell a compelling story, and offer solutions that influence business strategy and decisions
Apply critical thinking to recognize issues, remain objective while analyzing problem statements, and take or recommend appropriate independent action
Navigate difficult workplace conversations holistically, resolving conflicts and promoting collaborative, productive teams while empathizing with and understanding Workmate perspectives
Work closely with Talent Services team members to implement specific HR processes supporting employee and manager-generated requests
Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting, and tasks in collaboration with cross-functional HR and partner teams, including leading programs and initiatives as needed

Experience
7+ years of relevant experience in an employee relations or HR Business Partner role
Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Proven track record of using data to drive HR strategy and organizational decision-making
Experience leading or contributing to HR projects and programs across multiple stakeholder groups
Qualifications
Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant employment standards and legislation across the Americas
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive employee matters
