Salesforce Business System Analyst

Job Summary:

Are you a highly skilled and experienced business systems analyst looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative technology environment? We are seeking a talented professional to join our Business Technology Go-To-Market team, working in close partnership with Sales, Legal, and Finance business functions to drive growth, revenue, and exceptional customer and employee experiences. In this techno-functional role, you will analyze and translate complex business problems into effective solutions, leveraging your deep expertise in Salesforce, CPQ, and Agile methodologies. You will serve as a trusted technology advisor, collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, scrum masters, and project managers to deliver key business and technical capabilities that align with organizational strategy and goals.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a functional and solution authority for the Salesforce platform, including light design responsibilities and related technical areas
- Partner with collaborators to shape requirements and ensure alignment with business and technology strategy and planned initiatives
- Drive the planning, prioritization, design, development, and deployment of new projects and system enhancements
- Evaluate and address multi-functional and cross-system dependencies
- Understand business requirements, create and groom user stories, and partner with the Development team to deliver solutions and project plans
- Participate in and perform Agile sprints, standard processes, tool entry, and execution
- Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements and serve as a trusted technology advisor for business users
- Participate in organizational change management and launch support processes
- Maintain familiarity with IT systems and business application capabilities to make recommendations regarding upstream and downstream integration or functionality intersection points
- Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met, and work closely with project teams during user acceptance testing, including tracking issues through resolution and securing end user sign-off
- Partner with business operations team members to define, plan, and complete small and medium projects, in addition to ongoing delivery of run-the-business enhancements and fixes
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality deliverables

Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CRM and CPQ platforms
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Order and Quote-to-Cash processes
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and sprint execution
- Advanced ability to lead and drive key customer engagement discussions
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to analyze and translate complex business problems into actionable technical solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, scrum masters, and project managers
- Familiarity with platforms such as SnapLogic, Reltio, Heroku, CLM, AWS, and OKTA is a plus
- Advanced delivery and execution capabilities with strong attention to detail

Experience:

- 8 or more years of IT experience
- 8 or more years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- 3 or more years of experience with Salesforce or CRM in an Enterprise IT environment
- 3 or more years of Finance or relevant functional business experience

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (201) is a plus but not required
- CPQ and CLM Certification is a plus but not required
