Construction Laborer – Restoration & Rebuild Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $20-25/hour, depending upon experience & willingness to learn.
Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional emergency response and overtime as needed
We are hiring for a growing restoration and reconstruction company dedicated to helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, storm, and other property damage. Position Overview
We are seeking a hardworking Construction Laborer to join our restoration and rebuilding team. This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy physical work, learning new skills, and seeing projects through from demolition to reconstruction. You will assist with restoring damaged properties, rebuilding structures, and ensuring job sites remain safe and organized. Restoration laborers typically perform demolition, debris removal, site preparation, rebuilding tasks, equipment setup, and general construction support.
Responsibilities
- Perform demolition and removal of damaged building materials
- Assist with rebuilding projects including drywall, framing, flooring, painting, and finish work
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Set up and maintain containment areas and job site protection
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Perform job site cleanup and debris removal
- Assist with water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration projects
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule but also need to work well independently
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Construction, restoration, demolition, or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift, twist and bend without issue along with perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong reliability and attention to detail
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Willingness to learn restoration and reconstruction techniques
- Willingness to submit to a pre-hire background and drug screen
- Willingness to submit to a pre-hire driving record screening
