Marketing and Public Relations Specialist
MAIN FUNCTION:
The Marketing and Public Relations Specialist role is crucial in developing and executing tactics to enhance our brand presence. This role involves assisting with public relations activities and aligning marketing initiatives and developing designed collateral. Responsible for overseeing website content and editing for both WCH and BMS, managing the VIP loyalty program WCH Friends, and managing and creating Google profiles for both WCH and BMS. Additionally, the specialist coordinates photo shoots and designs various marketing collateral.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Marketing & Public Relations Director
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
•Computer Skills: Excel, PowerPoint, desktop publishing, Word. Excellent word processing skills.•Proven experience as a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist or similar role.•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.•Strong project management skills and ability to multitask.•Able to work in a fast pace environment with the ability to maintain multiple projects and/or jobduties.•Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.•Able to function independently and collaboratively within a team; shows initiative; is creative andwell-organized•Demonstrates exceptional customer services skills

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Subject to STHR (short term hour reduction) according to policy
• Employees in this position must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, turn, crouch, and bend as

Operations
Content Creation and Management:a.Create engaging content for various marketing collateral.b.Edit and update websites for WCH and BMS.c.Manage and create Google profiles for WCH and BMS.Program and Profile Management:a.Manage the VIP loyalty program, WCH Friends.b.Ensure the accuracy of payroll timesheets for each department member.Event Coordination and Support:a.Coordinate photo shoots as the in-house photographer.b.Use images for websites and other marketing materials.c.Provide interim coverage for Volunteer Services.d.Design collateral for Auxiliary and Volunteer Services.e.Act as a resource for the transportation scheduler.Brand Management:a.Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.b.Incorporate images and other marketing materials onto the WCH website and WCH Friendsportal pages.Collaboration and Team Support:a.Work collaboratively with various departments and team members.b.Support and contribute to the overall goals of the marketing and PR team.c.Assists in representing WCH at community fairs.
Customer Service
