Sales Associate (Part-Time, 10-20 hrs/week) | Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, Parker, CO
Schedule: 10-20 hours per week, including some weekends. Specific shifts will be set with you.
About us
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is a locally owned neighborhood pet store offering premium pet food, fresh-baked treats made with natural ingredients, and professional grooming. We take the stress out of grooming and put love into it, and we're growing our Parker team.
About the role
You're the face of the store and the glue between our guests and our grooming team. You'll greet pet parents, recommend the right food and products, book and manage grooming appointments, and keep the store looking sharp. You'll also help us show up online by creating and posting content that brings neighbors through the door.
What you'll do
- Welcome guests and help them find the right food, treats, and supplies
- Answer phones, book grooming appointments, and keep the schedule accurate
- Run the register and handle cash accurately
- Stock, price, and merchandise the store, and keep it clean and organized
- Coordinate with groomers on appointment timing, pickups, and customer needs
- Create and post store content (photos, videos, stories, promotions) to our social media accounts
- Help promote events, new products, and specials
You'll be great at this if you
- Are confident, direct, and professional. You can communicate clearly, hold your ground respectfully, and keep a busy front desk running smoothly.
- Stay calm and solve problems when the schedule gets tight or a customer is unhappy
- Love animals and people, and enjoy helping customers find what they need
- Are organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through
- Are comfortable on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and have an eye for good photos and short videos
- Are reliable and self-motivated, and work well without constant direction
Requirements
- Previous retail, customer service, or front-desk/receptionist experience
- Comfort with cash handling and a point-of-sale system
- Ability to lift up to [XX] lbs and be on your feet during your shift
- Dependable transportation and availability for weekends
Nice to have
- Experience managing or creating content for social media (personal or business)
- Basic photo/video editing (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Prior pet industry experience
