Vehicle Appearance & Quality
- Perform thorough interior and exterior detailing of new, used, and customer vehicles.
- Wash, dry, vacuum, clean, polish, and protect vehicle surfaces according to dealership standards.
- Remove dirt, stains, odors, and debris while protecting vehicle materials and finishes.
- Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Report any vehicle damage, missing items, or concerns to management promptly.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, service return, photography, or display.
- Understand that vehicle presentation directly impacts customer satisfaction and trust.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready at promised delivery times.
- Support a positive first and last impression for customers receiving their vehicles.
- Respond professionally to re-clean or touch-up requests when needed.
- Treat customer vehicles with care, respect, and accountability at all times.
- Work collaboratively with sales, service, and recon teams to meet daily priorities.
- Communicate clearly regarding vehicle status, readiness, and special instructions.
- Assist teammates during peak periods to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Support dealership events, promotions, and high-volume delivery days as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
- Properly use, maintain, and store all detailing equipment, tools, and chemicals.
- Follow manufacturer instructions and dealership safety guidelines at all times.
- Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and reported if damaged or unsafe.
- Use the correct products for different vehicle materials (paint, leather, fabric, trim).
- Minimize waste and handle chemicals responsibly and safely.
- Previous vehicle detailing or automotive experience
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions, checklists, and procedures.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate detailing equipment and tools.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
