Lead Food Runner

One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Lead Food Runner to join the team!

Job Summary: 

The Lead Food Runner, will be at the forefront, not just serving and clearing food and beverage items, but also engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction, all within a pristine, secure, and professional setting. 

Job Specifications: 

• Expected Pay Range: starting $15.00 per hour plus tip pool
  • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-time year-round 
  • Evening shift, start time of 3:00pm as well as weekends and holidays when needed.  

Job Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of this position is to serve and clear food and beverage items to guests.
• Adept at all service functions while interacting with guests and maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment. 
• Assist with items included but not limited to the following: resetting tables, water/bread service, assisting with Room Service & polishing/restocking silverware.  

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Previous hospitality experience, customer service or restaurant experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. 
• Must be exceptionally well organized and calm under pressure.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be passionate about service, and able to multi-task.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
