The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but is not all inclusive of other duties that may be assigned.
- Assist Activities Director with developing and implementing recreational programs.
- Provide hands-on involvement in programs during the residents' scheduled times.
- Assist in the enlistment, orientation, and supervision of volunteers.
- Support Activities Director in exploring opportunities for resident socialization and engagement.
- Drive the community van to provide transportation for the residents to community outings.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- one year related experience
Skills:
- Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
- Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
- Ability to use a computer.

- Maturity of judgment and behavior.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Ability to work at minimum every other weekend and holiday.
- Must comply with dress code requirements.
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.

Must enjoy working with the senior population.
Current Ohio drivers' license with clean driving record.
