As the Billing Office Specialist, you –
- Act as the primary insurance verifier for Part B therapy patients across campus.
- Complete long term care claims monthly for campus.
- Act as a secondary insurance verifier for new admissions, including submission of prior authorizations, and completes billing forms for admission.
- Assist with inventory of stored records, record destruction and organization of stored records.
- Assist in entering new admission agreements, completing financial addendums for payer changes, payment entry for private pay, and importing clinical and financial records into current software.

- High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Experience in long-term care and/or medical billing experience preferred.
- Must have basic Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel knowledge.
- Medical records, health care business services, or related experience also strongly preferred.
