In accordance with the mission of Wood Health Company, and within the scope of the Ohio Board of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide clinical and administrative support in a medical office setting, under the direction of the physician and office manager/coordinator. The LPN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization.

Job Duties
- Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
- Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
- Administers routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.
- Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.
- Triages patient phones calls, in accordance with office policy.
- Obtains specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.
Minimum Requirements
Required License/Certification:
- Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified/Registered MA
