BCBA Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral intervention plans based on diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments
- Conduct patient assessments, including intake procedures, to determine individual needs and goals
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client progress using precise data collection methods
- Provide behavioral therapy tailored to clients with autism, disabilities, or other developmental challenges
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Educate families and staff on strategies for behavior management and skill development
- Participate in ongoing training related to special education, medical terminology, and current best practices in behavioral health
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting diagnostic evaluations, assessments, and developing behavior intervention plans
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs
- Familiarity with medical documentation, patient care, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress effectively
- Prior experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams including educators, therapists, medical professionals, and families
