Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed and experienced physician (MD or DO) to serve as our on-site camp doctor for one week: August 3–9, 2025. The ideal candidate has a background in Family Medicine or Pediatrics and enjoys working with children in a dynamic, outdoor setting.
This role is perfect for a physician with camp-age children, as we offer camp session tuition trade in lieu of monetary compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Live on-site and be available for medical care 24/7 during camp session
- Provide treatment for minor injuries, illnesses, and routine health needs
- Oversee administration of daily medications by nursing staff
- Evaluate campers and staff as needed for acute health concerns
- Coordinate emergency care and transport when necessary
- Maintain clear and accurate medical documentation
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.
