Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Administrative Director to oversee the administrative functions of our practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of medical office management and patient billing. Expertise in appointment and surgery scheduling, insurance requirements, medical records, and referrals management is required. This role is pivotal to ensuring efficient clinic operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional administrative support across the practice setting. The Administrative Director will lead our Scheduling, Patient Access, Medical Records/Referrals and Billing teams, and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize practice performance and patient care quality.
Duties
- Oversee the Patient Access, Scheduling, Medical Records and Referrals, Scheduling, and Billing departments utilizing our EHR systems, AdvancedMD, and other relevant platforms such as Cerner.
- Supervise administrative staff, including human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Coordinate with clinical staff including nursing, medical management, and practice management teams to streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and insurance requirements
- Implement policies related to utilization management, billing procedures, insurance processing (including managed care), and coding standards.
- Facilitate communication between departments to improve patient flow and service delivery.
- Monitor quality assurance initiatives to uphold high standards of care and operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA requirements and medical terminology standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, Epic, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance standards.
- Experience in managing medical records, medical administrative support, medical office billing, and medical terminology.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams including nursing staff or clinical personnel.

Education Requirements
· 3-5 years of experience in healthcare operational leadership, practice management experience preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
