1st Care At Home is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated office Billing/Collections Representative for our office location in South Boston, Virginia. Since 1985, 1st Care At Home has provided personal care, skilled home health, and hospice services across our region of southside/south central/southwestern Virginia. Overview: Billing and collections for Medicare certified Home Health and Hospice Agency to include numerous payors, networks, and online portals. Office hours are 8am-5pm. Mon-Fri and may include some weekends, early morning and/or late afternoon working.

- valid transportation to and from work

- professional demeanor
- exceptional keyboarding skills with advanced knowledge of technology and related portals with EMR use
- Experience in healthcare office administration including but not limited to: Billing, Medical Records, Accounts Receivable, Insurance verification, etc. is strongly encouraged
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (excel/word/outlook) is required. You must know the essential interworkings of an EMR system and how data is exported/imported to and from the EMR system and Microsoft systems.
