We are actively seeking dynamic Sales Administrator to join our rapidly growing Corporate Used Truck team out of our Indianapolis location. The Sales Administrator is responsible for ensuring smooth administrative processes, coordinating sales, service, and operations teams, and maintaining accurate records related to used truck equipment sales, rentals, parts and service (used forklift and aerial equipment).

 Position Responsibilities: 

  • Answering Corporate Used Equipment telephone calls and handling them appropriately.
  • Creation of purchase orders for stock equipment purchases, delivery of PO to vendors, and receipt of PO’s upon equipment delivery.
  • SRA creation of picture sheets, linkage of picture sheet to CRM, obtaining pictures in front of graphic wall, maintaining and ensuring of picture sheets to ensure accuracy of pricing, hours, etc. (all used equipment).
  • Ensure a complete monthly physical inventory and reconciliation of used equipment at all locations.
  • Updating/maintaining photos, inventory accuracy on Sandhills Global Cloud.
  • Updating/maintaining current inventory statuses.
  • Send daily inventory to sales group and general managers.
  • Send daily featured truck to sales group and general managers.
  • Enter and maintain data into Line Card for used equipment.
  • Assist Credit Department with problem accounts.
  • Confirming payment for customers.
  • Assist with scrap inventory levels, assist with processing scrap sales as needed.
  • Assist with off lease purchases, customer retains and Wolter retains for stock.
  • Walk-in, dealer sales, and 901 Wholesale sales processing.
  • Creation of formal quotes for used equipment.
  • May be required to attend off-site functions occasionally (such as trade shows or customer outings).
  • Perform projects as requested.
  • Perform as backup to others in department as needed.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to think ahead and plan.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment and our industry.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Commitment to company vision and mission.
