Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you'll work directly with clients to provide outstanding customer service, provide administrative support, and support the agency's overall operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, independent, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Utilize computer systems and software to manage client information and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the insurance field.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to provide informed advice to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Assist management with projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 1 years experience in customer service or administrative assistance.
- Associates degree preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills are a must! Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for managing client accounts.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to adapt to changing client needs.
- Strong commitment to high quality service delivery.
- Time management, problem solving and decision making.
- Knowledge of insurance products, usage and markets is a plus.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM); Early closure on Friday at 4:30 PM
- In-person role located in West Nyack, NY
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $32,000 – $38,000 per year, depending on experience
- Paid Time Off
