Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Insurance Service Representative to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the key liaison between our operations team and insurance providers, ensuring seamless coverage for all coverage related to transportation, warehousing, and supply chain activities. C-Suite access reporting directly to Executive Vice President.
Duties
- Manage and process insurance documentation related to freight, warehouse operations, and management systems
- Collaborate with team to process service requests, billing and renewals.
- Review and assist customer inquiries
- Assist in claims processing for damaged or lost goods during transit or storage, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Conduct data analysis on logistics insurance claims, incident reports, and risk assessments to recommend process improvements
- Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, certificates of insurance (COI), and compliance documentation in accordance with company standards
Qualifications
- Some experience in logistics or supply chain management with a focus on insurance or risk mitigation a plus but not necessary
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments such as operations management
