Key Responsibilities
- Manage the pass and ensure all plates meet quality, portion, and presentation standards
- Coordinate timing between kitchen stations and front-of-house teams to maintain service flow
- Confirm ticket accuracy, including modifiers, course pacing, and special requests
- Communicate clearly with line cooks, servers, and management to resolve timing or plating issues in real time
- Maintain a clean, organized expo station throughout service
- Assist with organizing to-go or VIP orders when necessary
- Act as the final quality checkpoint before food reaches the guest
- Support a high-energy, high-volume service environment with professionalism and poise
- Uphold Wolfgang Puck’s hospitality and brand standards with every plate and every guest
- 1–2 years of experience as an expeditor or similar role in an upscale or fine dining kitchen
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Working knowledge of kitchen operations and ticket management
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays
