The Wolcott School Board, in partnership with its community, is seeking a full-time principal to lead the K-6 Wolcott Elementary School nestled in the hills of Vermont’s Lamoille Valley. We are a small, family-centered school. At our school, we believe in fostering a nurturing environment where students excel academically, emotionally, and socially. We are seeking an exceptional leader who can inspire and lead a dedicated team of educators, while embracing the unique charm of a beautiful rural community. The school offers the best of a small rural community while opening up a sanctuary of key recreational and outdoor classroom opportunities including New England’s longest biking rail trail, the 94-mile long Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, many of New England’s premiere downhill and cross-country ski areas, lakes, streams, state parks, and the permanently preserved 735-acre Wolcott Community Forest adjacent to the school with five miles of mountain bike and hiking trails.
