Miller’s Run School is seeking a dynamic and caring educational leader that has experience with teaching, collaborating and cultivating faculty and staff and structured research and standards based programs for grades K-8. The Principal will oversee approximately 135 students and a staff of 40 who are dedicated to providing an outstanding educational experience for all students. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative leadership skills, curriculum development experience, and the ability to balance financial and program needs. We have a collaborative district principal team with a supportive culture. Miller’s Run School is committed to a thriving school and community. The position will begin July 1, 2026. Current Vermont Principal License or eligibility for proper endorsement (3-91) is required. Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
Miller’s Run School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in Northeastern, Vermont. Miller’s Run has a long history of caring for and nurturing education. Our District operates seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 55 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choosing.
